Our residency programs offer artists an immersive experience in their work and research in Ha.aH art space Barcelona.
We present monthly open calls for production and exhibition residency programs. Selected artists will have the chance to develop and present their projects to the local audiences with the guidance and support of our residency staff and associates.

Barcelona is Our Context
Our 350m² venue in Ciutat Vella offers a blend of workspace and exhibition area, creating the ideal environment for creativity and innovation. Our mission is to inspire creativity and foster innovation, providing a space to create, collaborate, and showcase art.
We actively collaborate with a vibrant network of local artists and art spaces, organizing monthly events and collective art projects to foster meaningful connections.
Our programs:
Each program involves practice, essay, production and research, culminating in a collective exhibition.
Lasting one month they includes project production and development, one-and-one curatorial coach, portfolio review with local advisors and exhibition.
The cost of each program is €500 + VAT

The space:
– Exhibition space with video projection capability (140 m2).
– Joint workspace with tables, chairs and tools (50 m2).
– Kitchen, bathrooms, framing and art storage areas.
– Meeting room with private area (20m2).
All work and exhibition spaces are within the Ha.aH main space in Ciutat Vella.
Eligibility:
Local and international artists can send their application to the program of their election. Individual artists or groups may apply. Applicants must be over eighteen years old and able to present a body of work in any contemporary art discipline (visual arts, performance, writing, poetry, music, sound art, installations, etc).
Our residents have the opportunity to work and participate in a range of activities such as talks, meetings and studio visits.
Participants are encouraged to collaborate with local art professionals, propose talks and workshops, and learn about the sociocultural scenario in Barcelona.
Proposals for new projects and works in progress will be considered equally.
