Production and exhibition residency programs in Ha.aH Barcelona

Balancing Conflicts program: September 2nd to September 30th, 2024

Cure and Care program: November 4th to December 2nd, 2024

Interested artists should prepare a PDF document with the following information, to be sent to spacehaah@gmail.com

Proposal must include:
    • Specify the theme or date of the program to which you want to apply. 
    • Brief summary of the project. 
    • Any special features of the project. 
    • Timeframe and space requirements of the project. 
    • Materials to be used. 
    • Technical requirements. 
    • Proposals may be accompanied by reference images.
    • Work dossier or Curriculum Vitae listing all relevant training and experience.
    • Images of previous works / productions and / or links to videos (YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, etc).
    • Scan of Passport with expiration date no sooner than three months after the final day of Residency.

Responsibilities and Commitments of Selected Artists:

All accepted residents must:
  • Notify spacehaah@gmail.com
    of intention to attend the residency within five (5) business days of acceptance notification.
  • Sign agreement to the Residency’s terms and conditions.
  • Agree to produce works and projects in compliance with local laws.
  • Obtain (and, if necessary, pay for) all documentation necessary to enter Spain (example: Visas)
  • Provide proof of valid medical coverage for the duration of the residency period, if required by European law.
  • Make a credible effort to develop and complete creative/research projects during the residency term
  • Prepare a presentation of their residency project for public consumption.  
  • Grant limited rights for reproduction/publication of images of works produced during the residency
  • Grant limited rights for reproduction/publication of personal accounts of the residency experience (submission of these accounts is voluntary and will be used for promoting Arthaus Residency, Ha.aH space, and its visiting artists).
